Death
Caesar died on March 15, 44 BC, in the Theatre of Pompey. His death was a result of a conspiracy between many Roman senators. They were led by two senators named Brutus and Cassius. Caesar was recently declared dictatior perpetuo by the Roman senate. This made some people fear that Caesar was going to overthrow the senate and become a tyrant. Caesar's ambition to become the greatest got him killed. His own fellow senators felt that he was unstable and could not be trusted with that much power.
